Dyed, tufted and finished under one roof.
Our factory in Jining, Shandong, has made hand-tufted carpet for more than twenty years — from a rug for one room to the carpet for an entire palace.
What hand-tufted means
A craftsman uses a hand-held tufting gun to shoot yarn, tuft by tuft, into a backing cloth stretched on a frame. The carpet is then latexed, sheared and hand-carved.
Because every tuft is placed by hand, there are no limits from a loom: any size, any shape, any number of colours, several pile heights in one carpet.
Three constructions
- Cut pile — yarn is cut as it is tufted, giving an even, soft surface. Pile 7 to 70 mm. For living rooms, suites, palace halls.
- Loop pile — yarn stays as closed loops. The most hard-wearing, holds its shape. Pile 5 to 14 mm. For corridors, offices, public areas.
- Cut and loop — both in one carpet, for texture and raised pattern. For lobbies, clubs, luxury retail.

Choosing the yarn
Every yarn has strengths and weak points. We'll recommend one — or a blend — for your area, traffic and budget.
New Zealand wool
Springy, warm, naturally flame- and soil-resistant, dyes to deep colours.
Can shed a little at first; keep dry.
Silk
The brightest, smoothest yarn there is.
The most expensive; sensitive to sun and stains.
Fine & spun silk
Fine silk for delicate patterns; spun silk is sturdier with strong sheen.
Costly to maintain.
Matte silk
A quiet, low-sheen look that hides footprints; good colourfastness.
Less lustre than silk.
Bamboo silk & viscose
Silk-like shine at a much lower price; vivid colours.
Wears faster in heavy traffic; marks with water.
Tencel
Fluid, silky hand; stronger than viscose; responsibly made fibre.
Fine yarn can show pressure marks.
Nylon
Top abrasion resistance, resists crushing and stains, moth-proof.
Synthetic feel; can build static.
Wool & silk blends
Wool's durability with highlights of sheen in the pattern.
Price sits between the two.
Backings & edges
Finished edges, cotton backing (white, grey or black felt), overlocked edges or tassels.
Wall-to-wall: open edges, no backing.
Checked against the sample you signed
Colour
Every dye batch is compared with your approved yarn sample before it is tufted.
Size & pile
Finished carpets are measured and pile height checked against the specification.
Finish
Edges, backing and carving are inspected before packing; photos can be sent before shipment.
